3. Free Inspections

We offer free roof inspections to help assess the condition of your roof. The following terms apply:

• Free inspections are provided for residential properties only
• Inspections are subject to scheduling availability
• We reserve the right to decline inspection requests at our discretion
• Inspection reports are provided for informational purposes only
• No obligation to purchase services after inspection

4. Estimates and Quotes

All estimates and quotes provided by Example Roofing Contractor are:

• Valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated
• Based on visible conditions at the time of inspection
• Subject to change if additional work or materials are required
• Not binding until a written contract is signed by both parties
• Exclusive of any permits, taxes, or fees unless otherwise specified

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms for services are as follows:

• A deposit may be required before work begins, as specified in your contract
• Final payment is due upon completion of work and your satisfaction
• We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
• Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by law
• All prices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise specified

6. Warranties

Example Roofing Contractor provides warranties on workmanship and materials as follows:

• Workmanship warranties vary by service type and will be specified in your contract
• Material warranties are provided by manufacturers and vary by product
• Warranties are non-transferable unless otherwise stated
• Warranty claims must be made in writing within the warranty period
• Warranties do not cover damage caused by acts of God, misuse, or unauthorized repairs

7. Insurance and Liability

Example Roofing Contractor maintains appropriate insurance coverage including:

• General liability insurance
• Workers' compensation insurance
• Property damage coverage

Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not responsible for:

• Pre-existing conditions not disclosed during inspection
• Damage caused by weather, natural disasters, or acts of God
• Consequential or indirect damages
• Damage to personal property not related to our work

8. Insurance Claims

We provide assistance with insurance claims, but:

• We cannot guarantee claim approval
• Insurance coverage and approval are determined solely by your insurance company
• You are responsible for all communication with your insurance company
• We will provide documentation and estimates to support your claim
• Payment terms apply regardless of insurance claim status

9. Permits and Compliance

All work performed by Example Roofing Contractor complies with local building codes and regulations. We will obtain necessary permits when required. You are responsible for any homeowner association approvals or restrictions. Additional fees may apply for permit acquisition and processing.

10. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies:

• You may cancel services before work begins, subject to any cancellation fees specified in your contract
• Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have been ordered or work has commenced
• Refunds for completed work are at our discretion and subject to inspection
• We reserve the right to cancel services due to safety concerns, weather, or other circumstances

11. Property Access and Safety

To perform our services, we require:

• Safe and unobstructed access to work areas
• Notification of any pets, security systems, or special considerations
• Your cooperation in moving vehicles or other obstacles if necessary
• Access to electrical and water sources when needed

We are not responsible for damage to landscaping, driveways, or other property features unless caused by our negligence.

12. Weather and Delays

Roofing work is weather-dependent. We are not responsible for delays caused by inclement weather, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will reschedule work as soon as conditions permit. No additional charges will apply for weather-related delays.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Example Roofing Contractor or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Example Roofing Contractor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our services.

15. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute:

• We encourage direct communication to resolve issues
• If a dispute cannot be resolved, mediation may be required before legal action
• Any legal action must be brought in the state of Florida
• You agree to waive any right to a jury trial
